The NSW Safer Drivers Course is available in Newcastle West with LTrent Driving School. This course is tailored for learner drivers in NSW under 25 who have already logged at least 50 hours. Combining both theoretical and practical elements, it aims to enhance your driving skills and ensure your safety on the road.
The Safer Drivers Course is divided into two essential modules. The first module is a three-hour interactive theory session where you’ll join a group of 10-12 learners to discuss critical topics such as hazard perception, speed management, and safe following distances. This session is designed to be engaging with videos and activities that make learning enjoyable and effective.
The second module is a two-hour practical coaching session. In this hands-on segment, two learners will drive with an instructor, focusing on real-life scenarios to improve hazard recognition and low-risk driving strategies.
By completing this course, you will gain a better understanding of defensive driving and be more prepared for the challenges of independent driving. Under the guidance of experienced LTrent instructors, you will develop the confidence and skills necessary to drive safely and responsibly.
